Rb26 Ac And Power Steering Pumps

hey

i have bought a rb26 for my s15 it it has no ac or power steering pump or the alternator

would i be able to use my sr20 ones? or does any one have these items

You need RB ones

R33 ones to be exact, R32 ones have an extra gallery for the HICAS which isnt needed.

Good luck finding R33 P/S pump though, they are pretty pricey now as they are fairly rare.

I paid i think $350 for mine, with most prices around the $450 mark.

I finally found it!! located directly under the steering wheel plastic cover, hidden behind a small pull out panel, similar to the fuse box panel, size about 50mm x 40mm. Just pull off the cover and pull down the OBD2 port socket. I will upload a photo tomorrow. In the meantime I uploaded a similar cover.

Yeah, not new. But not real old. They pre-date all the recent time spent on the dyno by.... at least a year. But this engine has probably only had 3 sets of plugs in it in the last...... 14 years or so since I put it in.
I just checked, and they are BPR6, so already down at 0.8mm out of the box. So it's going to get some of the flashy EIX ones at significant comparative cost as a first measure, and if that doesn't solve it, then it will get coilpacks.
