Why didn't the coil packs fit?

they didnt plug into the loom i have in my 32, no idea why i think there must be a difference in the coilpacks between a redtop and a silvertop or something im not too sure, when i went to the wrecker to get the right coilpacks he said he had plenty of these ones but not many of the ones i needed
