Well i kinda didnt expect my stag to come with xennons so i was going to get a 6000 or 10000 HID kit for the car.

What i want to know is, does the gear that comes stock with the xennos and HID able to handle a transfer to a brighter bulb, or do i have to do a complete replacement?

Nub at xennons so just need to know what im up for to change em over.

Were they removed at compliance or not fitted from factory ? If they were removed at compliance, easy job to get them running again, no need for kit, just 2 D2R bulbs, 2 D2R harnesses ( if yours were removed ), and about 3 hours to remove lights and rewire them.

Also 4000k to 6000k is best for driving, 10000k would be way too blue and attract attention. Mine are 4500k, which is close to factory.

The higher the K value doesnt mean it is brighter, refers more to the colour,

3500K (Gold Yellow)

4250K (o.e.m.color / white with yellowish color)

6000K (Pure White - Blueish)

8000K (Purple White)

10000K (Pure Blue)

They can handle different K value bulbs, same wattage, around 35w, bulbs are interchangable.

how come everyones bulbs are being stooged. mine went through with standard xennon bulbs?

nnono mine came through fine with no hiccups with the xennons... they are just white thats all..and i want them a bit more brighter..

so i just need to get the bulb replacement ( since i have the harness)? to get 6000k ones?
