Gtr Piping Removal

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am installing a Power Fc Djetro and I was wondering if I remove the standard inlet piping to the turbos including the return for the bypass valves and replace with just a pipe that runs directly from the turbo to the air filter (i will not connect the bypass piping back up), will this cause any problems (ie does there need to be a pipe connecting both inlet pipes to equalise pressure)?

Cheers

Fil

a few options

1) try it how you said

2) open mouthed turbochagers (jap style)

3) cutsom ducting and piping

4) hks fake airflow meters - http://www.nengun.com/hks/air-flow-less-adapter

5) apexi power intake and suction kit for djetro setup (no afm attachments) - http://www.nengun.com/apexi/super-suction-kit-d-jetro

6) keep the stock items where they are and just leave the afms unplugged

Sweet

1) I am not sure if i need the cross over pipe (the pipe join the two inlet pipes)

2) LOL would love too but i want my turbos to last

3) most likely option

4) 150 bucks for a metal tube with HKS stamped on it, not going to buy that

5) still too expensive

6) Nah i dont like the stock piping too much clutter and its hard to join the arc box up.
