Engine Transfer

hi there, im newbee 2 this site...

i got, skyline'96 2 DOOR and i thnk its HR33 GTS 2.0L RB20E SOHC

i want to ask if i can change engine from RB20E SHOC to RB25DET ECR33 DOHC and wat thing i need to change??

Wouldnt you need to upgrade the gearbox, brakes etc?

Engine,

Gear box, - you can use the RB20 but a rb25 will last longer if the new motor is modified.

ECU,

Wiring loom,

Brakes,

Better off selling it and buying a GTST. Will save you a lot of $ and time.

Im all for dropping in better engines into cheaper cars,

but in your case, as J'z-R33 said, its hardly worth it. May aswell sell urs and buy the GTST

Will workout much cheaper and less headaches
