I have just met a guy through the NDSOC club who apparently has a friend building a super-charged L24. The super-charger is from toyota (1ggze) and it is bolted to the air-conditioner mounting plate (the air con compressor has been removed.) Pulleys and belts are holden... Plenty of folks are turboing them, why not supercharge? Mind you, I'm hardly an expert on forced induction.

see if you can get in contact with 'OUTATIME'

he and his mate built a s'charged R30 in South Aus.

i think later on they turboed it though...

one thing though, is you would have to intercool it if ou want any reliability, and also the stock ECU wont like it at all.

a wolf 3D version 3 is pretty cheap these days, as well as a megasquirt v2 or v3 (better)

lol yea thats right man, we bolted 1 on2 mates r30.

was different 4 sure. but was abit dodge cos he didnt wanna get a custom made up/change the crank pulley (sc used serpentine type belt and l24 uses V belts). so changed the sc's pulley which then no longer had a clutch on it and had 2 stuff around with venting the boost bak into the intake with a bov which made it idle thru the roof. also sucked the fuel down and only ran bout 5psi cos size of the pulley.

turbo was much easier. but if done properly would be pretty cool...
