As above, I'd use the diesel oil for a couple of intervals, then switch to HPR10 if the lifters shut up.

Psh I use Penrite 5W-60 just to cover the [temperature] bases

I think i saw it at $110/5 litres, the only cool part would be includes free oil testing to see how it's handling the abuse (i believe?)

Almost 8 years on plain cheapo $20 (when on special) Gulf Western Synx 3000 10w40 oil.

Still drives fine and no noticable oil consumption inbetween servicing (every 5k to 10k km or 6 month)

Since owning a modified BMW, that's amazing lol.

im not quite making 1000hp but i am using Brad Penn 20w-50

hey guys whats the preferable oil filter to use on hp rb, i have been using genuine nissan for years but wondering if theres anything better ? i also use penrite ten tenths 15 w 50  and e85 which seems to work well with e85 fuel.

Just bought me a r34 gtt, owner uses Fuchs 20w50 dino here (whaaat) however, pressure and temps are all fine, never exceeds 110c picture is attached.

So might change to 15w50 fully synthetic or whatever synthetic, whats the thought?
