Corsair 450D:

Gigabyte Z97X-SOC:

i7-4790K+H100i:

Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133 (4GBx2):

Acer 24":

Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB:

840 EVO 240GB, Seagate 4TB(s):

Windows 8.1 + OS X 10.8.2:

M65, K40, NZXT Hue:

It's overkill for the games that I play.

Update time. OS X 10.8.2 is gone, new fans (Non LED type of the sort I already had), New monitor (Still Acer and still 24"), Win 10 installed, and a new drawer thing that goes in the 5.25" bay for USB's and memory cards. Also picked up a Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Scuderia racing wheel from the clearance section from PCCG. $99 plus postage isn't bad. Might also pull apart my case and spray it sometime early next year.

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Primo (slightly modified to fit huge board)

Motherboard: Lenovo D30 dual socket LGA2011 board (brand new, surplus spare)

CPU & CPU Cooler: 2x Xeon E5-2667v2 (8 cores, 3.3Ghz), 2x Coolermaster Nepton 140XL

RAM: 16x 8GB low profile 1866 ECC DDR3 modules

Monitor: Dell WFP 30”

Graphics Card: Powercolor R390x (temporary stand in)

HDD(s): 250gb Samsung 850 EVO mSATA (system), 256GB Samsung 950 Pro (data)

OS Used: Debian / Windows 10 / vSphere

Peripherals:  Logitech G15, Logitech G500, Razer Megalodon

In the spare time while I was getting my car back on the road… Built using some surplus server gear I got for bargain prices, needed a decent WS for VM work and thought I’d kill two birds with one stone. Case required some alterations to fit the board but it turned up a treat.

Revival!

AMD 2700x @ 4.3GHZ
16GB G.Skill 3200mhz
Asus Strix GTX1080TI
Some cheap cooler-master case with a tempered glass side
Corsair HX850
Asus pg348q 3440x1440 @ 100hz
Logitech G900 Mouse
Corsair K70 MkII keyboard
All watercooled with EK parts.

I'm a little old school, I don't get the hard tube thing. I am always buying/upgrading shit in my PC and hard tube just makes things difficult.

Kept all in my little office/gaming/reptile room/man cave

Side note: How disappointing is the RTX range...

The RTX range sucks dick, I cannot justify the buillshit prices they're trying to ask for that nonsense, tbh. Oooh, yay ray tracing, I want fps damn it!
