After a pc gaming absence of 20 years since quake 2 I just bought a new gaming pc this week for playing Quake champions lol

 

If anyone else plays it hit me up

Nothing wrong with that setup - a higher-mid range quad core CPU like yours is currently the best choice for most games at the moment and the GTX970 is just about perfect for 1080P gaming on most titles even brand new ones.

You should get plenty of use out it before you need to throw anything at it and even then the only thing you'd likely need is a bigger GPU in a year or two.
