To all that have have the GB threads closed please read this.

The forum rules are there to ensure users are not stuffed around, and there is some level of information/control surrounding them, and threads are kept upto date.

Some Group Buys you often see start and take 5 months to fill.

This is not fair to people who pay their money in the first few weeks and have to wait for many months for everyone else.

Reasonable time frames must be set and the rest of the rules followed

SAU is going through a revamp of all FS/WTB/GB sections and this is part of the process.

SAU is no longer as small as it was, the internet scammers and so on is more prominent than ever before so SAU must evolve to protect and give users the best experience possible.

Yes closing the threads is quite direct, however it will get a response and action taken inline with the forum rules rather than 'waiting' for it to be done.

Many GB threads have been going without set end times, outside the rules.

We have no issues with GB's at all, in fact most of the time users benefit from there. However please ensure the rules are followed to that users can benefit to the best extent.

This request is a reasonable request considering we have been beyond lenient for a long time.
