We have arranged a Group buy on Haltech ECU's this is the complete range E11v2, E8, and E6x. I believe this is the first and maybe last SAU (or any Forum) Haltech group buy.. This is the 3rd GB I have run on SAU (fuel pumps & ATI balancer's) at very competitive pricing.

Ok down to business, these are Brand New straight from Haltech. Group buy is starting 4/2 and will end on the 17/2 this offer will not be repeated. Prices do not include shipping, I can have then delivered via Toll IPEC at an additional cost, or you can pick up from Sutherland. The E11V2 Series

The Haltech E11V2 ECU is an ECU capable of controlling sequential injection on 4,5,6,8 and 10 cylinder applications. With 14 channels capable of controlling injection and ignition duties, the E11V2 can support most modern engines with multi-coil ignition systems, as well as conventional distributor ignition systems.In addition to controlling fuel and spark, the E11V2 can control various auxiliary engine functions such as:

- Stepper motor and BAC/IAC closed loop Idle Control

- Soft cut rev limiter

- Closed loop boost

- O2 sensor closed loop mixture control

- On board data logging (up to 200 samples per second)

- User definable mapping points

The E8 Series

The Haltech E8 is packed with more features than any ECU in its class by more than just a quarter mile. The all new E8 performance ECU is for those who are on a budget and need full sequential control for their engine.

The Haltech E8 ECU is an ECU capable of controlling sequential injection on 2 and 4 cylinder with semi sequential 6 and 8 cylinder applications. E6X Fuel & Ignition Computer

The Haltech E6X is a powerful "real-time" programmable fuel injection and ignition system computer designed to control most ignition type engines. Whether 1-6, 8, 10 or 12 cylinders, 1-2 rotors, naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged, the HALTECH E6X can control it.

The E6X System optimises engine performance through the following capabilities:

- Ignition timing control

- Fuel control

- Idle speed control

- Closed loop

The E6X is much more than a programmable fuel injection computer - it provides logging of engine data and allows access in real time to maximise performance and trouble-shoot problems in a vehicle while running.

Typical Applications:

- Control of fuel injection on modified engines

- Conversion from carburetion to fuel injection

- Race and rally applications of all description

- Design and development purposes

- Educational use by universities and technical colleges

- Original equipment in cars and motorcycles.

The patented Haltech system of programming virtually eliminates the input of numbers. You simply manipulate bar graphs by pressing arrows keys on the attached PC running Haltech Programming software. Manipulating the bars allows you to increase or decrease the amount of fuel delivered or ignition advance at that particular RPM and load point. The process is repeated for all load points in each rpm range.

Ignition timing is precisely mapped through the RPM range so that the exact timing required to obtain optimum performance is applied in every RPM and load range.

The E6X Short Kit includes:

ECU Programmable Computer, Programming Cable, Short Wire Harness OR Patch Loom, Programming CD, Instruction Manual on CD and Haltech Stickers.

Haltech MAP Sensors

A Haltech MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure) provides instantaneous pressure information to the electronic control unit (ECU) from the intake manifold - the amount of boost or vacuum in the intake manifold. This is necessary to calculate air density and determine the engine's air mass flow rate or in other words engine load. Engine load is used as a reference for all base fuel and ignition maps.

1 bar MAP sensor

A 1 bar MAP sensor is capable of reading intake pressures below or equal to atmospheric pressure, for this reason a 1 bar MAP sensor is suitable only for naturally aspirated engines (ie not turbo or supercharged).

2 Bar Map Sensor

A 2 bar MAP sensor is capable of reading intake pressures up to 1 bar of positive pressure above atmospheric (otherwise known as boost). This is equivalent to around 14.7psi of boost or 100kpa of positive pressure. This sensor is suitable for turbocharged or supercharged vehicles running 15psi of boost or less.

3 Bar Map Sensor

A 3 bar MAP sensor is capable of reading intake pressures up to 2 bar of positive pressure above atmospheric (otherwise known as boost). This is equivalent to around 29.4psi of boost or 200kpa of positive pressure. This sensor is suitable for turbocharged or supercharged vehicles running between 15psi and 30psi of boost.

LS1 Ignition Coil

A high energy single coil with 'built-in igniter'. For use with wasted spark and direct fire application.

Boost Control Solenoid

The Haltech boost control solenoid allows the user to map boost pressure levels on turbocharged vehicles through the engine management system.

Haltech uses a highly durable short stroke solenoid to increase durability, longevity and of course accuracy of the valve. A high force spring return is used to produce swift valve closing and to prevent valves "blowing" open under high boost applications. Valve movement control (Duty Cycle) map is accessed via the ECU programming software. Raising the duty cycle increases boost pressure, while lowering the duty cycle will reduce boost pressure. The boost control feature allows boost response adjustment for varying turbo sizes.

Depending on the ECU being used some people may want to utilise the gear based boost control feature - this allows separate boost levels to be set at every RPM in every gear. One of the latest features is also the implementation of closed loop boost control where all that needs to be done is tell the ECU exactly what boost to run at each RPM and the computer computes the opening duty cycle of the boost control solenoid automatically - this feature accounts for changes in air temperature, barometric pressure, intercooler heatsoak and any other unexpected factors that may effect inlet air temperature and pressures.

With the continual improvement and innovation consistently going into all of Haltech ECU's in the area of boost control its hard to imagine how your turbocharged engine ever lived without a Haltech boost control solenoid!

Haltech MXL Dash

The Haltech MXL Dash is a powerful, professional and high-tech gauge which allows the user to sample and display a large number of parameters. The Haltech MXL Dash has a bright backlight wide display and a high speed USB data download to PC, which allows data to be analysed using the powerful Race Studio 2 software.

Hey mate,

The E6x is a Stand alone with internal map sensor, 1 bar vacum, 1.5bar boost.. The only skyline specific plug and play/patch looms are for the E11V2. So the E6x you would need to wire it in yourself with the flying lead kit.

Honestly on a Skyline you'd want to be running an E11V2.. best advise I can give you is to give Haltech a call and discuss the E6x option with them.
