About me: I've been into photography for about 5 years. 1.5 years ago I turned it into my part time job. I do weddings, events and portraits.

I shoot with a Nikon D3 (or two of them if a wedding), 24-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8, sb800 flash etc etc.

If you want a car shoot done....just let me know. I won't charge SAU members....maybe just a few $$ to cover fuel money for me to drive to you.

Only other issue....I'm in year 12 and won't be on my P's until June 6th. But any time after then it should be fine. I'll do a proper shoot with my car too with the first person who asks me.... my body kit + lowering will be done by then, so will look nice.

For anyone up the coast, between Melb and Gold Coast, if you want a free shoot done...i'll be heading up there at the end of this year if you can wait. My mate will be tagging along with a very nice supra, so we can all go do a shoot if you are after one.

About me: I've been taking pictures my whole life but in the last year or so discovered I can take a decent car photo. I'm in the process of starting up my own photography business and I'm looking for unique cars for my portfolio. If you think your car is unique I may offer discounts for use of cars in my portfolio, but I will shoot anything. I've also been published a few times with 2 features in HPI now under my belt. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to organise a shoot.

Here's some samples of my work. Sorry for them being Supras, but I own one so they're easy access for me.

    • Sold.  Admins please annotate advert as I can’t seem to change it.
    • Also, pulling the fuse to the affected equipment would probably achieve the desired reset to normal screen.
    • Is the 5 stud conversion just to pretend that it's a turbo and not NA? Because there's not a lot of other reason to do it on an NA Skyline otherwise. It's not as if you can't get wheels to suit. It's not as if you can't do bigger brakes on the 4 stud either. I would have thought that the answer to the question "What other cars can I get bits from?" would be obvious. The 5 speed manual from the manual version of your car, and the 5 stud parts from turbo R33 Skyline. As NiZmo suggests, these exact questions have been asked and answered on here hundreds of times (if not thousands) over the 20+ year history of these forums. Nothing is new, everything is old. Also, nowadays, finding the parts you need is almost impossible. You will need to scrape and steal to get the full set of things you need. You will likely end up buying 5 parts cars. In fact, if your car is physically in great condition, you would likely find the best way to achieve your goal is to literally buy a car that has the stuff you need on it, that has a shit body/paint or is defected, or damaged. If you can find one.
    • VCAM requires a special intake cam in order to be able to actuate the cam phaser. So you are limited in your selection there, usually you want to match your intake and exhaust cams to some extent. Turbo engines are not the same as naturally aspirated engines. Once the engine is on boost it matters less if your VE is tailing off when you can just increase the boost solenoid duty cycle to compensate. Most turbos also have significant backpressure which can favor less valve overlap than you'd expect at high RPM compared to an NA engine as the pulse tuning effect of exhaust runner length is competing with the exhaust backpressure causing internal EGR. It's likely that these effects are why the factory exhaust cam is said to be lower duration and lower lift than the intake cam. I would love for there to be public data comparing the effect of staggering cams in either direction (more duration on intake vs exhaust and vice versa) for the RB26. As far as I can tell nobody has done it.
    • 👍 I've got the conversion the Estonian guys on ebay, I guess there are other ways to contact them but all roads probably lead to the same people. I was a bit dubious about sending that much but they were quick and it works perfectly, the only thing I'm not impressed with is the english buttons they supply aren't a great match colourwise to the stock ones I did the install based on the US MY51 Q70 2013 manual, close enough to work out how to pull the console apart without breaking anything and the unit is direct plug in. Some functions are lost like the passenger parking camera and the japanese lady yelling to tell you how to parallel park. Frankly, the frustration for us with the jp menus was since Kel and I share the car, memorising the path to connect audio and then phone every time we change drivers was a pain. I've got a thread on my fuga here:
