New Nissan 370z National Dealer Bulletin

Recommended Posts

I love'd the quote that MrYutaka Katayama said, in 1969, "The 240Z represents the imaginative sprit of Nissan. It

meets all the requirements of sports-minded drivers, fulfilling their desire for superb

styling, power and safety, and provides them with the most thrilling and enjoyable

ride available in any car."

Despite the fact that a datsun fairlady 2000's had been around for about 4 years, datsun fairlady's that could probably out perform one of those new zed's

Or: "If you have followed the history of the Z, you will know that from the original 240Z,

subsequent models morphed into grand tourers and away from its focused, sports’

car roots."

I'd say that the original 240z itself was a grand tourer.

Anyway, Guess that's what marketing is :).

Looks like the 370z is going to be quite a nice car to drive. And expensive at 70000AUD. The document is interesting, thanks for the upload.

No problem. Share and share alike I always say!

I did question the price tag too. Especially with the GTR being released as well.

I think the 350z was still around the 60K mark when released though.

nope nothing wrong with the price. we paid 70k for the convertable 5 years ago, and it had the povo brakes not the big ones. In real terms the price has come down, and there is still nothing in in the market that will catch it for the price (esp in RWD)

i'm ashamed to say this, cos I stopped liking the land barges that they released after the S30... but I love the side profile of the 370Z. so retro, so cool. possibly the coolest lookin Z after the S30.

there is still nothing in in the market that will catch it for the price (esp in RWD)

BMW's? Lexus IS's? RX8's? Honda S2000?

nope....none of them are RWD, quicker, and cheaper.

s2000 is a great car, I ran one at Phillip Island. Horrible road car though, the power is not accessable. Rx8 has no power or torque. lexus is ok but much more expensive for similar speed.

having said all that, the 3x0Z has such small cargo space it must be deliberate poor design. I still don't understand WTF all of the interior space went. It is dead set a reverse TARDIS
