Hi there,

Have a problem with high/low beam not changing when I click the stalk on the steering column. High and low beam come on together when I turn headlights on and nothing changes when I click stalk. Car had suffered front end damage when I got it and I have had to replace both front headlights. Would this probably be a problem with the headlight relay or the actual stalk on the steering column.

If your still using the standard loom and it hasn't been modified then i would say the problem is with your high/low beam/blinker switch as this controls the headlights (ie. there isn't a relay for switching between high and low beam, it's done in the dip switch itself). Use a multimeter to test where you've got voltage as that will help you work out where the problem is.

You would've been better off posting in the General Maintenance section for this, but I'm sure a Mod will move it for you soon.
