I want to spray my dash surround in a midnight purple.

Ive got a gun and done a bit of spraying before, but just acrylics.

These are the 3 midnight purples.

LP2 (R33)Midnight Purple (no Chromalusion, has 2 pearl tinters Violet & Red)

LV4 (R34)Midnight Purple II (Chromalusion Tinter KK760 Absolute Purplene & Vilot Pearl)

LXO (R34)Midnight Purple III (Chromalusion Tinter KK700 True Blazberry Prizm & 2 pearls red & Violet)

How are these sprayed, can I just get one of these in acrylic, so just mix with thinner and away I go or how are they done?

Its only the dash surround I need to spray so not like I have to match panels or anything.

Im not 100% sure but i think you need atleast a plastic primer first as the paint will not stick properly straight to the plastic, have a look in the DIY section someone would have made a tutorial.

guess not, but if you find the correct procedure for spraying this stuff let a few of us know, interested.

I am about to try my hand at a bike with a pearl coat, only ever sprayed 2k marine work, nothing fancy like this..

Recently had my rockers resprayed with KH2 dark grey pearl metallic as Nissan call it

or r32 gunmetal grey as most know it

is a "clear over base "system as I assume is midnight purple

brought the paint direct from Nissan

primer color clear and hardner

cant remember the brand but can post that up later if it will help
