Bosch 910 Fuel pump.

Hey, my stock fuel pump died, If i fit a Bosch 910, will i need to upgrade the regulator or any other components (tuning?)?

i haven't tuned mine since i installed it myself.. checked my plugs b4, a perfect shade of dark grey (good ratios).

Better of just giving the Bosch part number mate, which for the 910 is: 0 580 254 910

Repco wanted $410! for a 910, Bursons wanted $275 or $230 for trade price.

While we are on the topic here my next mod will be to upgrade the fuel pump i have the mods listed in my sig. Will i need a fuel pressure regulator? Why do people buy them?

hmm i would like to get one from the group buy but im kinda hoping to get one next week.. Should have my new rb30det in the car by saturday - have to work sunday and get paid on wedensday..

On the topic of fuel pressure regulators what should I be looking at.. a Nismo GTR one? or a Malpassi? (spelling?)

Fuel pressure reg is to allow you to adjust the pressure to your fuel rail, and as a result the flow to your injectors, allowing them to increase their flow rate somewhat beyond where they'd be maxing out. Basically allows you to squeeze a bit more out of the injectors. Its been covered in here somewheres.

You don't need to worry about it with the stock turbo.

hmm ok than thanks pred.. Soon I will be looking at doing the vg30/rb25 hybrid turbo so I guess i will be considering a regulator then.
