Yeah, theres like 2 1/2" size midrange things sitting in the door. The left hand side doesn't work and I want to replace both as a result.

Where on earth would one find such a thing...?

Incase your WTFing, heres a pic of what the doorcard looks like

(Lower one, my tweeters are perfect)

Car has full aftermarket stereo but for whatever reason, passenger speaker doesn't work. Might be loose connection, haven't checked.

Its either 2 1/2" or 3". I'm going off internet based information...

Cheers...

those are common sizes for VW and Porsche as well. if I remember right its a 3 in with two mounting tabs or a thin ring with tiny screws

brands that size

MB Quart

Morel

Vifa

Seas

think Blaupunkt still does, Chris you sell those don't you ?

and yeah Rainbow

and many more companys make them. just more looking, hell even Jaycar has some that are focal knockoffs in Kevlar for cheap but they will need a crossover if your has it soldered to the speaker frame and not outboard or in the amps

heaps of companys just not a common item for JB HI Fi shops and the like

more of a real shop...lol

    • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
