R34 Brembo Caliper Thickness Vs Gtt 4 Pot Thickness

Okay I am reaching the end of my project build and brakes is on the front burner now. I have acquired a set of R34 Brembo brakes, front and rear and I am planning some upgrades. I have an S14.5 and an ER34 GTT. Both as with most people can't help but upgrade as this is also my case. I have been in two minds whether to put the Brembos on the GTT or the S14.5 but I have finally convinced myself to swap them on the GTT and swap the GTT calipers on the S14.5. The problem I have encountered after having the front spindle caliper holes widened is that yes the Brembos and the GTT brakes can bolt fine but I am having wheel clearance issues. I have only bolted the Brembos there temporarily and decided to fit the VS-XX 8.5" +31mm wheels to it to see how the clearance was and I found that the wheels rub ever so slightly on the calipers. Question is what is the width of the R34 Brembo and do you think I will have problems when I swap the GTT calipers? Are the GTT calipers narrower than the R34 Brembos and does anyone have a measurement. I know offset plays a little part in clearance and more so the style of wheel face but I am really trying to avoid spacers where I can. Do you think my clearance with the GTT calipers will work properly? I know I have no problem with it on the GTT as I have GTR wheels on that car and the brembos came factory with the GTR so no probs. Anyone with pics or measurements to ease my mind. I am going home later and I may just jack the GTT and bolt the VS-XX to it and see what clearance I am getting but if anyone knows off-hand that would be great.

your work's will have a low clearance face... only way to solve it is to get some bolt on spacers or new rims....

the sumitomo calipers will hit if the brembo's do

Thanks for the response. I found out lastnight as well, took my GTR wheel off the GTT and tried fitting the VS-XX, sure enough it was rubbing on the brake caliper. Gonna get me some spacers, what do you recommend a good 10mm hubcentric setup? I think 10mm should be more than enough, don't wanna chance getting 5mm ones and they are not enough. I am actually thinking about leaving them on the GTT as they look pretty nice on it with the silver and white and the lip as well. Just that they look so small even though they are 18's.
