Vspec R33 or R34

Same diff, so without knowing the car it's sitting in, you'll be hard pressed to find out whether its 33 or 34.

Not that it matters coz it's the same diff anyway

No.

That diff is an A-LSD (Active Limited Slip Diff)

No one makes aftermarket centres for them to my knowledge.

They are worth approx $500-$700 depending on condition usually and GTR can only be fitted back to GTR etc. The splines are different, the half shafts are 6 instead of R33 GTST which has 5 bolts.

No....31 spline vs 30 spline

buying it for spares...i have a r32 gtr diff in a s13 so any spares that fit would be good

and if the person im buying it off doesnt know what it is i can try to get a really good price

I believe they work well in the V spec cars but won't work at all in other cars because they don't have the control gear to make them work (like you say it works in conjuction with the HiCas and Atessa and no doubt the special ecus that control them).
