Tailgate Harness

I'm fitting an electric closer to the 25G.

On the RS harness the plug for the reversing lights does not fit the 25G socket, so thats ok I will just cut and solder. BUT

While the wires are the same colours, they are fitted differently in each plug/socket.

The 25G wires are arranged red/black/pink.blue stripe/red.blue stripe.

The RS4 wires are arranged black/pink.blue stripe/red/red.blue stripe.

Any whiz out there know what to do????? What should I connect to what?????????????

You will be fine if you colour match them.

Well its harder than i thought. I keep blowing the tail light fuse, the wiper does not work except when I put it in reverse. If it rains I will have to drive backwards.LOL

If I was mass producing a car I would make one harness for all. Hirohito's Revenge.

I will keep this up to date.
