have new '07 WRX wheels in the garage (19's a bit too hectic for me) and rear spoiler on the way so hopefully turns out something like this;

foresteerr008-1.jpg

bit of a soccer mums cart, drives pretty well with plenty of low down torque for city driving - only reservation is that due to the short gearing it sits at 3500rpm in 5th at 110kph which is a bit noisy for long distance/highway driving

yeh was thinking of mentioning that, despite running pretty rich (full turbo-back exhaust) im getting around 10-12L/100km - in top gear maths i get about about 450-500km of city driving to a 60L tank which is slightly better than my R34 non-turbo which uses about 12-14L/100km

They were a really nice shape when they came out Lachlan ^^^

And James, it seems that yours is an early E39.

What model? Many ppl say it's the best 5 series ever made > the best saloon car in the world at that time with it's new suspension componentry etc.

how's the Forester on fuel?

Yes, the XT runs at about 11l/100Km in the suburbs (without stop/start or flogging it).

squareznboxez' is a really nice example. Mine is getting scratched up by this guy I take out for brekky on Sat (whilst caring)

I agree, love the whole wedge shaped hatchback, the whole RA60/AE86/S12 style. Defnitely turned a few heads and had money allowed (on fixing it up) I would have kept it.

Lachlan what's next?

Got my eye on a ~1989 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon as well as a 1990 Lexus LS400. A big, reliable luxo-barge would do me quite nicely.

Although I did finally get this beast delivered today...
