Howdy all,

I did a few searches and couldn't come up with a straight forward answer, so sorry if its repeating another post.

Just got my V35 and i seem to find that it has horrible reception, i have a band expander put in but it seems like a lot of the main channels cross over other channels. Is there anything i can do here or will i just need to go outside the square with a new radio somewhere. I notice the radio gets really bad when i go north (Salisbury Elizabeth). Anyone else had this issue? Will one of those bumper bar antennas fix this issue?

Thanks in advance guys.

got the same problem. can't get decent reception with band expander and stock radio. I've taken the band expander out a few time and rewired it. only got it to work a bit better - nothing decent.

i've got another source for radio in my car so i haven't bothered going further with fixing it.

I put a band expander in mine and found that only some stations worked okay, others were terrible depending on the location.

Then the CD player stopped working so I bought an ipod and plugged it into the AUX input. The ipod has an FM tuner on it which works better than the FM expander ever did.

Also, if you are lucky, you may be able to pick up a couple FM channels on the factory TV tuner. I found the other day I can pick up triple J (107.7) on TV channel 3.
