Thinking about selling my skiline just thought id see if theres any interest out there first....

1995 R33 GTS-T 4 door Skyline

Manual

92,xxxklms

2 tone silver with dark grey(ill post up a pic)

M Sport bodykit

R34 gtt wheels

Strut brace

HKS mushroom air intake

Nismo catback exhaust

factory sunroof

heavy duty clutch (think its OS Giken but not 100%)

fully aluminium radiator(bigger then the standard)

Blitz turbo time

jvc bluetooth stereo with usb & mp3 input

Drift weighted gear knob

new gearstick/handbrake boot leather

autotechnica steering wheel

boost guage

mirror tinted windows

just had a full service and tune at boost automotive, cost me $550, replaced all spark plugs with iridium ones, changed filters, oil etc and gave it a tune.

a couple of minor problems- when car is first started there is a clicking sound behind the dash ever since i changed the dash surround(because of someone painted the last one and wrecked it) it only goes for 5-10 seconds but has nvr worried me, next the indicators dont click off by themselves, i guess its something to do with the non standard steering wheels not being on there? not sure and also front brake pads will need doing soon.

other then that ive nvr had any problems or issues with it, its been a great car for me i just want a change.

thats about all i can think of at the moment.

id be interested in swaps, prob not really higher(may for the right car) but straight swaps or lower, cash sale is always preferable though.

Im after $11, 500 ono

cheers Brad

i reckon he could tell cos on the interior pic you can see the gauge cluster with the gear column selector in it. lol.

my mrs would love me to get this as she has one too, lol. but unless you want a 5spd v8 vs maloo and have another 2k for me then theres no chance shes getting her wish, lol.

This is the thread I used to fix mine mate (http://bit.ly/dcMcwi). I would say that you should make sure you have a vice, a few flat head screwdrivers and gloves before you attempt to pry it apart. Took me a good hour of bashing and scraping to actually get into the damned thing. Also, when you're trying to get your hands up to reach the screws, as stupid as it sounds, get on your hands and knee's outside the door and reach in, don't bother trying to lay on your back and bend your arms backward to reach it like I did for ages before the missus showed me how it's done (only mildly embarrassing in the long run).

    • Personally, i'd be dropping the extra $400 for the Pro series. I believe (at least during their original conception) they were based off the Blue series but have evolved with apparent new valving tech etc etc.  The BC's were super harsh ride wise, felt like the road was covered in potholes almost (this with damping at softest), but they did feel a bit more pointy initially through corners, i felt like there was considerably more understeer at turn in on tighter radius corners (but this is not really a like or like, considering the difference in wheel size, tyre choice, track temp etc etc)
    • Facts but it's okay I've ordered a new ignitor based on GTSBoy's confidence. In the meantime I did the ole jiggle tap on the maf connector with no change. Seems like the warmer it gets outside the worse the issues get. Hoping it's the ignitor. Also going to pick up some carb cleaner and try to get that iacv cleaned out real good. I'll report back once I've gathered more data. I really appreciate the feedback though guys keep it coming. Trying to learn everything I can about this car want to keep this thing for a long time.
    • Unfortunately this is a bit like arguing if you prefer blondes or brunettes....you will get people who strongly hold either view. My observation is I have had good results racing on MCA golds (spring led) but personally find Gary's approach of lighter springs and heavier bars is more predictable over mixed or rough surfaces like in rally (or an Australian road)
    • Yeah, they mentioned that its not worth upgrading from the stock sway bar due to how their coilovers are set up.  Still learning more about the suspension etc, but with Garys approach of lower spring rates and controlling roll with bars and obviously improved dampers, wouldnt that be like softer ride and more roll but with the sway bar, it keeps the roll to a minimum/lower amount? Where as MCA's approach of stronger springs, and dampers adjusted for the springs, wouldnt that be a harder ride (against bumps, going straight etc) and less roll, and the stock sway bar does its thing but the coilovers does the majority of the work? Its a daily so im in favor of a softer ride while normally driving but keeping the roll to a minimum while turning etc. Or am I getting my idea of suspension completely wrong?   I was looking at the Pro Comfort, it has the price hike of it being the MCA Pro series ( extra $400, total $2490 ). Ive read people saying the blue/red/gold series(and the blues being more favorable from the past threads) but what would those be nowadays?  What was the drive difference between the BC golds and the MCA Blues you got?
    • more then likely but not very practical for a street car
