so problem will be solved by getting proper sized rods

Well it's either you use standard length like the HKS 2.8 kit does or 119.5 mm (2 mm shorter) like the Tomei does. It's all about where your pin sits.

Either way, when stroking your rod to stroke ratio is going to fall, but really, 26's ain't the best from factory. It means a little bit more wear and harder on the pin, however, there are advantages also.

I noticed that you ran a pod filter in the engine bay in the early days with the car, and have since revised it so the filter is in front of the left front wheel.

Do you have any pictures that more closely show you relocated turbo air intake?

Did you have any concerns with water on the filter in the low location from wet weather driving, or do you have a rain shield around it?

yeah its in kemps project 34 now, running low boost (30psi low) until he changes gearbox etc. he was going to build an elephant package so just bought it as the owner was selling for bigger better things.

no doubt powertune could build another if youre serious.

kemp doesnt work at powertune either., unless recently employed lol.

Hi AH_HUH, I went hunting through the thread and can't find a dyno plot for the RB28/PT7175 combo - what was the most power it made, and how was lag with it... if you don't mind sharing?

Do you reckon it needed much more than 5000rpm for full boost? Cheers :)
