Great read mark and this is comming a long to be a fantastic build.

Im sure it makes baby jesus cry seeing the 34 pulled apart and chopped like that lol, but im sure it will be fantastic once its finished.

Are there many 35s in japan that have been modified this extensively?

I've said it before, there would be many intense R35 builds around, just not all have a build thread.

whilst I am posting plenty of info there are significant aspects of the build which are not fully disclosedthumbsup.gif

So for some more pics: roof off now, cage begins

No Way... That is now insane!! Ehh makes me feel bad on the inside :-( Wow Mark that is a big commitment.

Can't you just approach Nissan and buy a GT1 car.. Must be cheaper..?

let me ask a dumb Q...

when you cut out all the metal around the rear etc, do you fill it in with a lighter metal for support? or does it just stay blank?

Derp derp, I hate people that keep secrets. Isn't like anyone else will make financial gains out of knowing what you built into this GT-R, but whatever it is your money :D

The race-spec Nismo variant looks interesting, 720k seems quite reasonable really considering all the support and 'warranty' that would be gained.
