Replacement Coil Packs For Rb20Det?

Righto, so I've been told my stock injectors on my R32 RB20 are on their way out.

I've seen a few DIY's on using either VN-VY Commodore or EF-S1 AU Falcon coil packs as a wasted spark set-up.

Wondering if anyone has done either of these and how it goes? (any problems, spark strength/blowout etc.)

Any other opinions regarding aftermarkets or any other swap-out methods would also be helpful.

(Also, though unrelated I'm hearing from the rear right hand side of my car like an electrical whirring sound when idling, though thats the only time I'm out of the car to hear it, but any help on that would also be great)

check the DIY section for a thread on wasted spark setups. has been done before by a few people, generally with good results.
