hey guys im going to put and RB25DET gearbox in my NA, just wondering if i would need to change any other parts to make it fit or will everything be the same such as tailshaft or anything else??

May I ask why you need a RB25DET gearbox behind a natro engine? A RB20DET box will cope with the stress and costs half the price.

i actually wanna to ask the same question. heard that one is mechanic speed sensor and other is electronic. can someone pls confirm.

because i do drifting with my car it has a drift set up and im planning in the next couple of years to take the engine out and put an RB25DET in or maybe GTR runnning gear, its my lil project that ive been working on slowly over the years, and since myy gearbox is going now this would be the time to change it to a Rb25DET gearbox instead of doing it again later on down the track

yeh go rb25 box, don't bother with a rb20 box what a waste of time.

physically the gearbox is bigger, not sure what speedometer setup the r33 NA gearbox runs, but most likely swaps across.

the tailshaft input yoke is bigger to, so have to grab a turbo tailshaft.

oh ok cool thanks heaps for that, does a turbo drive shaft fit on the NA box ? because im doing everything bit by bit so its worth asking

The na and turbo front half tail shafts are different... Or more specifically the tail shaft yoke to the gear box is different. The speed sensors are interchangable.

Fwiw the rb25de and rb20det use the same yoke.
