great to hear Ryan. On my list to do tomorrow. May even get transfer case and front diff done at same time then It just leaves me the transmission which ill get my mechanic to do. Can someone confirm what they have used in the transfer case?

Ah, that answers my other question. Why not do trans yourself?

I've got written down that you can use trans fluid in the transfer case, but I can't remember if that's what we actually did.

Either use Matic J or Nulon Synthetic auto trans fluid.

Only takes a litre or so from memory

Make sure you crack the filler plug BEFORE you open the drain plug.

Nothing worse than discovering that you cannot fill your now empty gearbox/transfer/diff.

Yup, the common sense rule with all gearboxes, diffs, and transfers!

Come to think of it, I really should change mine. Never did do my diffs or transfer. Put it on the never ending list.

Thanks dale for the heads up. Never would have thought of doing that.

The key with making mistakes is learning from them. ;)

I have learned.
