I need some help identifying this part off my 1996 R33 GT-R Vspec (See pics below). After having a go on a skip pan this piece has come off the underside of the car. It looks to be some kind of cover but having a quick look under the car I can't see where it came from. Does anyone know what it is and where it goes? Any photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

tried to find some photos but no luck mate,

ne way its a crash pan or skid plate whatever people call it now

all it does is protect the engine and transmission from rocks, dirt, rabbits and small children, there nice to have but there not a necessity, they usually start rattling or scraping eventually so ur better of with out it. if u really want it back on just get under the car and line up the holes to some of the cross members, judging by the height of the side it probably goes near ur transfercase and transmission probably off to the side.

and while ur removing guards, its a good idea to remove the front liners in the wheel wells of the front wells. they tend to fall off while driving and get sucked under your front tires an BAM! no steering, usually happens just before a corner lol.
