How And Where To Mount Tow Hook For R34 Gtr?

hey guys wanted to place a tow point on the front of my r34 gtr, the factory one is deep above the front diffuser somewhere therefore creating some issues and the gtr front bar doesnt really facilitate for access, and seeing that i have a genuine nismo front bar i dont really feel like cutting holes in it - has anyone done this before neatly?

gtroc forum says that you need to weld a plate close to the factory point and extend closer to the front bar as per the topic in the link below

yeh bud not quite sure where to post its not exactly fabrication in its strict definition is it?

anyone got any pointers?

Pull the front bar off and see what you can get to first, then source some thick steel plate and maybe bolt to the side of the reo bar mounts, adding some longer bolts, then bend plate to come through the air inlet opening in the front bar. Clean up the hole in the plate and paint red, done!! That's all I have for an idea...
