R33 Gtr Steeling Wheel

Hey guys just a quick question,

My brother has a 1995 Nissan GTR Vspec and the steeling wheel is all used and crap.

There is a R34 wheeling going on ebay, and it states that it will fit a R33 but no mention of a boss kit..

Is it possible to fit this wheel to the R33 and still meet Australian standards and have use of the airbag??

Because it is a 1995 I'm guessing it has an early model airbag wheel?

If it has one like above then physically the wheel will fit on but the airbag system is different so it won't work making it illegal and potentially dangerous.

If you have one of these wheels though it will fit up no worries.

is this wheel in the lower picture the same as a 1998 S14 wheel? it looks very similar because we actually have one of those cars spare lol

Yes it's the same, also the same as an N15? Pulsar and SII C34 Stags, probably others as well.
