A Murky Layer Of Something On My Dish?

Hey guys,

I've noticed this ages ago, but on the passenger sides of my Buddy Club P1's dish, it seems like it has like a murky layer of something on it that makes it not chrome looking, where as on the driver's side, it's shiny chrome, can anyone tell me what it might be and how I might be able to make it all shiny and chrome looking again?

But like, on the dish, it isn't spots, the whole chrome dash part is murky... Not sure if I should sand it?...

do you mean dish? coz you typed dash, twice...

I'm just too used to typing dash because of all the cf wrapping quotes haha

You'll probably find the clearcoat is starting to lift, this exposes the alloy to the atmosphere and it corrodes.

Stripping, re-polishing and repainting the clearcoat will probably be the only solution, any half arsed measures will only make it worse.
