This should help.

I had a simelar problem with mine a while back, the diagnostics showed it to be the PBR, which is the black box located on the right underside of the dash (left side of the divers foot-well)

It has touched sounthing it shouldnt have, and the force of the conductivity bent the tabs upwards so it wasnt working properly.

Im sure that probably doesnt make any sense but if you have the same problem then you will see what im talking about when you pull it apart

Climate Control DiagnosticsR32 and R33

The climate control has a diagnostic mode.

Enter the diagnostic mode by pressing the OFF button for five seconds withinten seconds of turning the ignition on.

Sensor check

Sensor check is selected by pressing HOT switch (the red triangle) while indiagnostic mode. The microcomputer detects whether each sensor input signal iswithin correct parameters. The results are displayed on the screen.

If normal, a "20" is displayed.

If abnormal the failed sensor number is displayed. The sensor numbers are asfollows:

20 - all is normal

21 - outside air sensor

22 - Inside air sensor

23 - Water temperature sensor

24 - Intake temperature sensor

25 - Sunload sensor (small sensor on the left hand side of the dashboard near thewindscreen)

26 - PBR

27 - Refrigerant temperature sensor

This should tell you if any of your sensors are faulty.

Mode door position check

(This is probably not the cause of your problems but it is a nifty self checkto play with). While in Sensor check, depress the HOT button again. This willoperate the the mode door actuator, and checks the whether the positiondetection switch is operating. Again the results are displayed on the display.

If normal, a "30" is displayed.

If abnormal the number of the faulty mode is displayed as follows:

30: Normal

31: VENT

32: B/L (Bi level)

34: FOOT

35: DEFROST/FOOT

36: DEFROST

Actuator operation check

By pressing the HOT button while in Mode Door Position check, you can actuallysend a signal to check the operation of the actuator manually. This is a bitcomplex, and will be expanded upon when a manual can viewed.

Sensor recognition check

Press the HOT switch again and a "5" will be indicated in the displaysection. If you press the "AMB" button (R32) or the windscreendefroster button (R33) in this status, the display will show the temperaturesensed by each sensor. This will give you an indication also of which (if any)are faulty.

Temperatures will be displayed in the following order (R32):

5 -> Outside air temp -> Inside air temp -> Suction temp ->Refrigerant temp

R33 seems to have a different selection, with three temperatures beingdisplayed.

Obviously if any of these temps seem excessively different from actualtemperatures you have a problem!

Calibration

If you depress the fan switch during the Sensor Recognition check, you will goto Calibration in which you can set the difference between the indicatedtemperature and sensed temperature.

While in Calibration press the HOT or COLD buttons to change the display byplus or minus 3 degrees in .5 degree increments (R32) or 1 degree increments(R33).

Problem Solved! I didn't so much check the lights as take out my AC control unit in the centre console and then unplugged it blew and rubbed some dirt off and tried to "clean" the ports etc. Stuck them back in and now it works. So not to sure exactly what happened but I fixed it :P

It was my step before Hit it and see if it works

    • It was roughly 3.5 hours.    car went in around 11:00 and I was done around 2:30 He did the initial runs, install the BC and then Nistune install and tune.  The best part was sitting in the lobby and hearing the skyline on full throttle at the dyno 😂😂
    • Glad it all went smooth. How long did the tuning process take?
    • Yeah that was kind of the same feedback my tuner gave me.  the boost tee is until I can sort out my plan for the electronic boost controller and what I’d get, where I’d mount the dash etc.  I’m happy with this until I can figure it out. Not a big fan of the A-pillar gauges. I’d like to get a clean install of the boost gauge - something digital like GFB.  Something like that might fit neatly where the ashtray is and look clean. I feel like replacing the OEM triple gauge is a bit extreme for a weekender like my skyline. And it’s not making crazy power to need all the additional sensors/gauges.
    • I'm about to swap my box to Tremec T56 Magnum F & initially thinking of re-using my DCS twin plate (can get it re centred for the bigger spline) but it's been called out the box will be noisy (rattle) as the clutch is unsprung.  So I'm doing as much research as possible. I'm not so worried about holding the power as I'll go the track version which on paper will hold the maybe 1000hp I make. It's the longevity I worry about. DCS told me they don't use a sprung centre as it's just something that can break. The uni clutch has a very complicated sprung centre. Any one had or heard about any issues with it failing? Thanks in advance.
    • Auto is at least 10% (from my real, actual experience with different torque converters and manual on the same setup) ~185rwkw at 11.6psi (peak!) is entirely what one would expect without a FMIC or anything else on the intake, it does bleed off towards the higher RPM so it's what, 9psi there? Note: There is nothing that can be done about this with a manual boost tee. If you want to hold it steady and gain more top end, well - You will need electronic boost control.....
