Went to the Spoiler Shop today to collect my Gtr wing

Was all painted shiny and ready.............so :thanks: to Greg

(@Jonno - I told him about your business and he said to tell you to give him your number / card so that he could give you some work on a regular basis / cross refer etc)

These were the things that I saw while I was there...........

First up.....a nice looking 350z

Had to take off the old clips....(which were stubborn) :spank:and then stickaflex the holes etc..to prevent water getting into the boot later

Also got to watch Brendan and his 34gtt and his dad in his 33 gtr race at barbs....and met Capt. Keaton Sparrow and the (black) White Pearl and his mate....

so a good day overall...productive and fun !!!

:wub: the car now.........and picking up 850cc injectors on sunday arvo..............so stay tuned for some fun next week :devil::merli:

Haha I got my cars bodykit done with greg! Great guy, gives tons of help and support - i still need to get my skirts repainted pinch.gif

Haven't had time to be without my car for so long, itll prob have to wait till the next bunkzilla comes in so i have something to get around in

Also - JDMWA Cruise #4? I should be there, hopefully I can finish the detail on Colins 34 Sedan earlier that day itself

But will be good to cruise together at last!

And btw I still think the 33 looks mad tough without a spoiler - but the gt-r spoilers definitely an improvement!

My next project was already on its way before she went in for the turbo swap and wing.....

So continuing that now...Sand back and repaint the window linings thingos.........

its rubber dude, it looks cracked too

just go ask a windscreen place to replace it..

might cost 50-100$ but will look better than new

can a windscreen place do like the rubber trimming on the door/glass there too? mine are fudged

nah unfortunately..you would have to see Nissan or a wrecker about that one

even the rear windscreen rubber needs to be "made up" so to speak and it will usually be a bit wider than standard but it looks good

ok im pretty sure that is not rubber......??? does not seem like it...yes a bit of it is missing etc...but thats only on the back....

and if it is it is one hell of a "hard bit of rubber".....oh and I painted the front and sides and they look perfect :nyaanyaa: This was done about 6 - 8 months ago and they still fine...so ??? Also when I sanded them back they dont break up or act like rubber..they act like a solid bit of something....so yeah???

And water does not get in etc..coz I wash my car once a week AT THE VERY LEAST...on a bad OCD week she will go through 3 washes !!!

yeah its rubber..just really old hard brittle rubber...I know caus I tried to remove it an failed, i also asked the windscreen guy about replacing it when he did my front...:thumbsup:

BUT...seeing how it works fine...and the paint doesnt fade / get absorberd / spoil anything...im going to do it anyway....coz im bored and love doing rubbish anyway..hahaha...and worst case scenario I will change them later on...but I doubt it..coz its been fine for nearly a year

Update:

Got myself some nismo 550cc side feed injectors off Andrew (guy on here).

Look like this :teehee:

Ordered a z32 AFM and picking up the pin from KYP.

So car goes in on Tuesday morning for a tune...and if everything goes well....we will be turning up the boost and finally making some decent power :devil: :devil:

they arent R33 RB25 injectors. they are top feed and will require a different fuel rail

hahahaa.....good spotto "TiTAN" :thumbsup: (you just had to rub it in didnt you....jus coz i forgot to take a pic of it before dropping it off at the tuners)

Lazy me just googled it..n put the first pic up !! BUT in my defence..i said "look like" this...... :nyaanyaa:

Some pics I took of the car after the wing was put on................converted them to black and white coz it was such a sunny day you cant really see the kit otherwise :geek:

Update:

Bought a z32 afm off Nathan (Room42) on here this evening...:thanks: mate....also went for a drive in his stock looking..but loud screaming beast :worship: Gt35r for the win

So car goes in Monday for fitting of the injectors, afm..and tune

      I run 2 x 525 pumps on factory 8mm fuel lines     ... zero issues, staged of course    Your setup should work fine, all you need to do is find the restriction. A good aftermarket fuel regulator is always a good idea too. If it's not your regulator i'd be suspicious of your fuel tank breather and your tank pressurising. Next would be something with the fuel hat. Then blow out the fuel lines.

      Update time...... Been a crazy busy time and a bit of a change here. Sold my 370z Nismo as wasn't using it much and wanting a 86/brz so wife can have some fun at the track again also to help with funding the s15 build.  As said last time booked a cruise to NZ. The place is great, drank lots of craft beer, eat food and visited some amazing places   The plains of rohan Before we left I finally got an electrician booked and the shed now has power. Been so good being able to use it at night and not running things off a 20m extension lead. Got stuck in last weekend and reorganised it and cleaned up a lot of stuff. A few more things to tidy over time but really good to work on now. There's 13x 10a GPO, 3x 15a GPO, 4 high bay lights and 5 LED batons so will never have an issue seeing or powering tools. 437344198_7178721088892834_15829362501196293_n.mp4   Work has restarted on the s15. Removed the rear cradle so could pull the fuel tank and finish emptying the stale e85 thats now been sitting for almost 4 years 🤮 Cleaned it out and let it dry. Removed the old lift pump and have reinstalled a new lower pressure pierburg pump with all new hose and lowered the pump to get it nice and low in the sump of the tank. Also got a an old diff cover cleaned up, work has a soda blaster so made quick work of it. Going to put a 4.11 ratio diff in with a fresh rebuild thats been reshimmed for now before buying a good diff centre. And had a big change with going back to full time work. Opportunity came up to apply for a race mechanic job so applied and got it, been some big days so far but definitely enjoying it and getting to work on some cool stuff and with some great equipment. Learning a lot on proper car setup and suspension so will be valuable for the s15. I'll be part of the travelling team form next round too. This weekend will get the fuel tank and system in, need to buy a rollover valve and mount that. Get cradle in with the diff and axles then make a shopping list to buy to finish that off then start looking at cooling setup and plan intercooler pipe routing. Work will definitely be slow now on the car but will be to a higher standard.  The 180sx hasn't sold so may be heading out to Morgan Park labour day weekend for a charity event to have some fun been almost 6 months since I've driven it so will be take time to get comfortable again.

      It has a separate fused 10ga wire running from the battery to the relay in the trunk. 10ga on the ground also.

      Actually I did the fuel pump rewire 2 days after the issues started. Grinded away the paint and grounded it to the chassis behind the right panel in the trunk.
