Cluster Light Issues

Hey guys,

Was looking at my car today (s2 r33 gt-r with dual airbags)and noticed that when the car is on accessories, the airbag light and hand brake light isn't on. When i put the hand brake on it doesnt light up as well.

I was told it could be an issue with the car and that the previous owner in japan pulled the bulb out to avoid the flashing srs airbag light so I pulled the cluster out hoping it was a busted bulb but its not, it hasnt been touched and there was no blown bulbs. I doubted myself so i changed atleast 4-5 bulbs and it still doesnt light up. Is this normal?

I dont know whats wrong. Could it be a fuse? I hardly drive the car, its sits in the garage for atleast 3 weeks before i get the chance to drive it again.

You dash shouldn't light up on accessories? It will light up in the run position.

Your airbag light should light up when you start the car and then go out after approx. 5-10 seconds.

Your handbrake light will come on if you engage the handbrake while the motor is running or it is in the run position.

If they aren't coming on then, then you have a wiring or fuse issue.
