There are so many fabricators popping up all around NZ its not funny, there is some serious competition out there! Most of the stuff its not to bad quality as well.

for that price I would give it a go regardless haha.

I built up a drift car for my mate before I moved to oz, He brought a cheap stainless steel manifold to use on the RB25det i had to adapt it to fit his master power T70 and wastegate and heaps of other fab work but basically after over a year of some competitive drifting its still holding up strong. Even Jake Jones couldn't shake the beast to bits lol

Sometimes cheap stuff may look crappy but will surprise you how long it lasts.

chiming in on this.. I installed this on a freinds s13 SR and it has gotten the thumbs up from MRC and Rigoli.. Still waiting on a proper power run but is going well

edit: forgot to mention this was originally a non ext gate manifold. We drilled the merge collector and made our own ext gate point at a 45 degree angle

Can someone confirm what sized wastegate an "off the Shelf" RB26 6boost manifold comes designed for? Am I worrying the 38mm is too small for no reason???? What do you think guys??

Kyle from 6boost usually reccomends larger gates for his manifolds (60mm for most seups) due to the design of the collector. 38mm is fine for most setups, the only time it'll become a problem is when trying to run really low boost with a largish turbo

Yep, told me 50mm minimum but i am going to try a 44mm Tial and see what happens....

The size of the wastegate required depends on

1. The capacity of the turbo (more capacity bigger w/g)

2. The amount of boost you are going to run (more boost smaller w/g)

3. The position of the wastegate in relation to the collector and turbo ( try to give w/g priority)

I have a 50mm wastegate coming straight off the housing of my GT3540:

Battery, Im not doubting this is an ebay manifold but I think Kam should post a pic of his collectors up as i certainly would not be putting that mess anywhere near my engine. Kam?????????
