I'm trying to find some info on the original factory installed keyless entry systems that some lucky folk had in their R33 S2s. Does anyone have any pictures of the components involved? I'm trying to get my hands on a factory drivers side door actuator, but also want to know more about the whole factory system.

Here's what I'd like to accomplish. I already have an aftermarket actuator installed in my drivers side door.

#1 - It's too violent in it's movement, and is pulling/pushing too hard on the internal door locking mechanism. No matter how much adjusting I do, it still operates in the same rough manner.

#2 - Maybe due to how it's mounted, but when I use the car keys to unlock my car, I can barely turn the lock. It feels like I'm going to snap a key, or bust the lock itself. I need to be able to use my key in a normal fashion.

#3 - The door lock/unlock button that is next to the auto window buttons only unlocks the passenger side door. I would like to make it so it activates the drivers side door as well. So it seems possible I can tap into this.

So what I want to accomplish is to have a more seamless install with a few tweaks. I want the unlock button to activate both doors, for the key unlock to not have so much pressure required to actually turn the lock thus meaning I won't snap a key or bend the lock.

And lastly, since I have an aftermarket security system, I'd like to know if it's possible to solve the problem whereby you lock and unlock the car manually or via using a key, but the keyless entry system does not register this. Thus you can unlock your car with the car keys, then you want to lock it with the remote, it thinks the car is still locked and doesn't do anything. Thus the manual locking/unlocking is not jiving with the remote locking/unlocking. The solution at present is even if the car is unlocked, I have to hit unlock on my remote, then hit lock. Then it's back in-sync again, but only until I manually lock/unlock it.

S2 had DEALER fitted keyless. S3 had proper OEM keyless.

#1, they are all that way. its teh adjustment in them that makes them do that.

#2, that is all to do with mounting.

#3, that CAN be done. you need to find the drive wires for the STOCK control unit then you will have to rework your alarm to control it. if you are unsure what I just said DONT attempt it.

not possible. you would need a custom solution for that one.
