Hks Gt-Ss Turbos And Hks Racing Pod Filter Kit + Jun Sump Baffle + Aem Wideband & Egt Sensors & N1 Oil Pump

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I have some parts that will be available from next week, the turbos and filters are getting removed next Monday 20th August. If you live in the Brisbane area the turbos and racing pod filter kit is currently installed and I'd be happy to take you out if you're genuinely interested and have the cash to prove it.

Up for sale are a set of genuine HKS GT-SS turbos that have seen 18,000 km's... they still go strong and really come onto boost early and are perfect for a stock motor. I'm chasing $2000 and will deliver them anywhere in AU for that price.

The second item coming off the car is HKS Racing Suction Reloaded Intake System, this has seen about 10,000 km's and like the turbos has no damage and is in perfect working order. I'm looking for $800 delivered anywhere in AU.

If you want both the turbos and the intake I'll sell them together for $2600.

The last item I have for sale is an AEM UEGO Wifi wideband with 2 EGT sensors, brand new and still in the boxes and plastic. I never ended up using these due to a change in ecu to the Haltech and I went with the sensors they make instead. This unit uses your smartphone as the display which when connected via wireless appears as a website with all the live data coming in. Perfect for those who don't want to mess up the dash with a clusterf%$k of gauges. I'm selling this complete unit and two EGT sensors for $400 delivered.

I'm a genuine seller, I've sold other items previous to the listing below which shows some feedback from the buyers who purchased these goods: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/389349-garage-cleanout-fcs-oil-fuel-pumps-baffles-afms-wheels/page__p__6203708#entry6203708

From that listing I still have these parts available below which include photos of the items in the link above.

Brand new in box JUN Sump baffle, I'm chasing $350 delivered for this.

N1 oil pump, I had listed this a while back as a Nismo N1 but I got this wrong, I thought all N1 pumps where Nismo but I was corrected that there is actually a Nismo N1 and a Nissan N1. I'm looking for $150 if anyone is keen let me know.

roughly how many kms does the oil pump have on it??

I bought the pump with a motor about 18 months back... It was meant to have been new but it was fitted to the motor so I cant tell if that's legit or not but it's definitely clean and new looking. Did you see the photo I took from the previous listing?

ill take the turbos pending removal on monday for condition report.

No worries mate, I'll update this thread with some feedback once available.

I just did a search on what the turbos and suction kit from Japan is going for new delivered to Australia. Maybe I'm underselling these a little. Over $4600 delivered.

Fact is HKS GT-SS are identical to Garrett -9s... Which you can buy brand new here in AUS for around $2200-$2400 delivered + say $120 for gaskets.

If you are willing to look more closely as the turbo price, i may be interested.

Please show me where you can purchase garrett -9 for $2200 I'll buy go buy em now...

I'd rather that than buy second hand turbos anyhow...

In saying that hks cartridge has a different part number

Garrett GT2859R-9

AU$1,269.40 x2

+ drain pipes $75

Okay guys whoever wants the Garrets go and buy them, I got 4 people interested in the turbos and awaiting the report when they come off. Everyone has an opinion and nobody is forcing anyone to buy the stuff.

I bought a set of second hand HKS 2530's and I could've got 2860 -5s for the same price.... some may say that's stupid but the numbers in that argument always went the way of the HKS unit. At the end of the day it's a personal decision, so please try and play nice. I paid a premium for these items and the reality is they're well priced for what they would cost to replace.

  • 2 weeks later...

I got some of the parts back today from the workshop. The good news is the turbos are in great condition with no shaft play and are sitting in my garage. I bought these new and where only ever used on the road with no track or drag work.

I had a few ppl enquire on these, first to commit with deposit received will have these shipped immediately. Price listed above includes shipping at my expense to anywhere within AU.

    • Lifters (solid vs hydro) do not affect VCT. For cams, just contact Kelford in New Zealand and tell them what you want to do with the engine and that it is a solid converted 25. They'll know what to give you. FWIW... you can probably use any cam with either hydro or solids at that power level. By "any cam" I mean, there probably isn't a particular reason for the profile to be much different between the two.
    • Hello from Germany,   i build my RB25DET Series 2 -> Target 600hp i have now ordered solid lifters from Tomei for the cylinder head and will replace the original hydraulic lifters. Which cams can you recommend ? It is only a street car.... Maybe i order a Garrett GTW38 or something like that.   and what is with the VCT ? is it blocked with the solid lifters ?   Attention is a RB25DET with solid lifters!   Thank you for your help
    • Diff arrived from Japan last week.  Nismo gt pro 1.5way for gtr. Still deciding whether to use 4.11 or 3.9 gears before installing.  Spent some time yesterday going over what's needed to finish engine bay fuel lines. Got a list so will order soon. Played with radiator placement and decided on stock location with bottom spaced a bit for a small amount of angle. So ordered standard mounts and rubbers. Reason for this is the 180sx was a pain to work on any of the coolers and was also going to take longer to fabricate mounts. Today made a bracket to mount the dbw throttle pedal. Factory location wasn't great to work with the pedal box. Luckily there's a rail that pedal box mounts too so did some measuring, drew up a design and got stuck in.  It's made of 3mm aluminium and has a lot of strength just need some bolts, washers and nuts to finish up.   If I get time tomorrow I'll pull the front bar and lights to start intercooler mounting, it will be flipped under the rad support which will require some trimming.
