ok so the basics

R32 Gtst unopened Rb20det

1 bar boost

nistune/ z32 afm/ FMIC

TD05/ split dump/ full exhaust/ blocked BOV

gtr injectors/ bosch 040/ gtr coilpacks

so my idle has never been right, i have sorted out allor of problems mostly fuel pump issues new tank and all that shit.

new bosch plugs gapped properly, re tuned.

it sounds like 1 cldr is still missing occassionally and sometimes when cold it will idle up to 2000rpm and when warm down to 400rpm, never stalled.

when i jump on the clutch the idle can bounce from 1-2k rpm and back

something isnt right. next on my list is nes splitfire coiklpacks but i have always suspected another vacume leak... wheres the best/ most commin places to check and how cos its getting old.

    • Hi everyone, Does anyone have experience in retrofitting the factory cruise control to a V36? Or is this just a nightmare to even consider given the complication? I know aftermarket options exist however I just have a thing for preferring factory bits where it's feasible.
    • You both need to run those mowers side by side for 10 years straight and report on oil and intervals condition.
    • Hi everyone, Thought I'd say hi. Fulfilled a long suppressed dream & finally bought myself a JDM car. It's nothing overly special, just a PV36 350GT, but it's the happiest a car has made me feel for a very long time. Don't really have any intention of modifying it, happy to enjoy it as Nissan delivered it.   This forum has been a wealth of freely available knowledge in leading up to my purchase & can't thank it enough.
    • I've done a couple of oil changes on a 30 year old petrol Victa that the outlaws use to own, over the 15 years that we have had it I have ever only used whatever engine oil that was on hand, 5w30 to Castrol Edge 10w60 From my findings, of 2 oil changes in it over 15 years, where the outlaws never changed its oil, the first was when we inherited it, to the last, a couple of years ago, the mower doesn't care, as long as it has oil it is happy As for blowby, just stick something thick in it and mow the lawn, or, use a thinner oil and just tell yourself it's a 2 stroke and clean the plug when required, the spark plug in the Victa was last changed 10 odd years ago, and still fires up now after a couple of goes on the cord, if it doesn't start, a quick hit with some wet and dry to clean the spark plug gets it running again I really need to get it some new blades though, the ones on it have been resharpened to the point that they are about half their size and are not really throwing the grass as well as they should As for the carby on it, it has never been touched, although I do run 98 in as well, for all of horsetorques
    • I'm still waiting for the bearings from Jesse Streeter so haven't fitted them yet. King pins don't fit though, if you're thinking about doing it get the king pins now because the new stock seems to be 3x the price. I got one from Kudos and one off ebay from JP 40022-60U05.   If you get them from NZ get him to mark the value down, I got touched for $2k in duty and gst
