Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone knows from first hand experience what the actual fuel capacity is of the pm35 350rx wagons is?

I have seen info stating online and in a M35 manual stating its 80 litres but the most I can ever get into my pm35 is 70l (and thats not running dry but I assume would be close to it). Thats with both fuel lights on and the distance to empty showing 19km left.

Can any pm35 owners tell me what the most you have put into your pm35? :thanks:

The actual manual says that the last 10L may not be usable, so when mine show empty on the display, mine has usually done about 570km

And I run it comfortably up to 630km

When filling up after this the most it has ever taken is around the 73 - 74 L mark

Fuel light also comes on super early, from

Memory ( wife's car ) it's about 100km till empty,

80 litres

Thats cause the fuel tank design is ghey- has a big lump in the middle and the pick up / pump sits on one side. If its low, just go round left hand turns faster :P

Which fuel light are you referring to?

The one on the Dash above the fuel gauge or the one on the centre trip computer/green leaf?

Thanks

  • 2 weeks later...

Well after much very light driving, I managed to put in 73L! for a total of 692km's travelled averaging 10.54L/100km mostly suburban/city commuting

(I was quietly hoping for 75L judging by the amount of k's I did) :(

I travelled a further 18kms after the trip computer display read **** range left before filling up again.

Quite an errie feeling having the **** showing with no safety margin left to rely on knowing that at any time my travelling could come to a not so sudden stop. ;)

Wow that's freaking awesome. THe only time I got that sort of consumption was when I drove my NM35 down from Sydney....freeway all the way!
