Yellow Jacket Coil Packs

hi fella's, ive got a set of yellow jackets i bought to put in my 33 gtst. i have sold that car and now have a 32 gtr.. can i use them in my gtr???? thanks!!!

Depends if you had a series 1 or series 2 r33gtst. Series 1 can, series 2 can't.

hey fella, had a look today and the plugs are the same, the height and bolt hole are the same?? so does that mean i can use them?? or is there something to do with the spark that will f@ck me over?

if it was a 1.5 then it runs the series 2 motor and the ignitor is part of the coil pack.

You will not be able to use them as series 1 's use a sparate ignitor at the top back of the engine on the coil pack cover.

hey pal, im talking shit. i bought them off a mate and he had them in a series 2 r33. badddd memory. he only ran them for a bit because one was failing pr something... so is that still a no for me? thanks

Is it not simply the case that the incompatible ones have different plugs anyway? Ergo, if it fits, it will work?

On the top next to where the plug connects (on the early type) you should see + - E , something like that, as said the plugs and wiring are different but check the symbols if in doubt
