Trying to disassemble a spare front strut assembly to have all new bushes etc put in for my car and have come across a problem

I've removed the caliper and have tried bashing the disc off with a mallet to no avail, am i missing something here?

These are just a floating disc aren't they? Can't see any bolts or screws holding it in there

The wheel studs are part of the hub assembly are they not?

I've been placing the assembly down on the wheel studs on the bench and trying to bash the disc down to bench (if that makes sense)

Is it just being stubborn or have i missed something?

Its prob just rusted on, get a rubber mallet and bash the crap out of it.

Haha yeah just did that as that is what i thought also - it worked :)

Now trying to figure out how hub assemble comes apart to send pieces off to be repowdercoated
