Here are a few of mine.

A car that had severe fading and chalking due to a poor repair.

A Lancer that was always taken to those Cheap Car wash and Detail Places that cover everything in silicone. Was a nightmare getting rid of all the silicone off it. Some severe swirl marks and scratches.

I didn't get 100% of the swirl out of it, but the owner was over the moon.

thats amazing... :woot:

Did that skyline require a bit of sanding?...when i was playing with the little daewoo the other day there was a lot of random fading...I tried to see if I could get it out but not sure its possible...its all standard paint and very thin at that..

you think its possible to correct it..I didnt want to waste much time on it so give up..

I didn't wet sand the skyline at all. It took a lot of work though.

You should be able to correct that fade to a degree. Does the car have a clear coat or is it a solid colour? Looks like it has a slight metallic to it.

Here's an F31 Leopard, It arrived to me pretty dirty with water marks, swirls and scratches.

The door is untouched after claybar. rear quarter has had paint correction done.

Holy shit that came up good. What do you charge for a job like that?

I sent you a PM Michael.

That is a bloody sensational job. What tools and products did you use?

Tool wise I use a Scorpion HPW spray, Concourse 900RO, foaming lance, various brushes, palm and pad applicators, etc.

I use a wide range of products, such as Concourse, Menzerna, AutoGlym, Bowden's Own and AMMO NYC. All job dependent.

On the Leopard I used the following:

Iron-X

Bowden's Own Paint Cleaner

AutoGlym Super Resin Polish

AutoGlym Ultra Deep Shine

UV protectant

High Definition Wax

Forgotten which carwash I used though.

thats amazing...I never knew I wanted a leopard till today

surely its not original paint , its had a respray at some stage yeah?

It's all original except for the side skirts!

rather sad looking merc with 260,000km on it I did ...full detail....

Fantastic result! I love doing full details like that.

elbow grease mate ;)

nah you need an RO polisher to do it properly.. some good preperation....and a bit of practice...

I got a kit from Waxit a while back, its under 300$ comes with polishes and everything you need..perfect kit for a beginner and enough to do 3-5 cars...after that you just start to accumulate more products...but practice on something else first cause its easy to mess it up and end up with more swirls than you started with...

Its hard work and a car can easily consume a day if not more..I quoted that merc a day without seeing it...it took 2... :/

sometimes it might be easier just to fork out the 300+ to a good detailer initially and then all you have to do is maintain it..

This thread is awesome! Great to see so much interest in keeping our cars and other clean.

Just a quick one of a 35 I detailed recently.

I washed, Clayed and Corrected light scratches and swirls from the car.

I completed a 2 stage correction with IP200 and SF4000.

I have also applied a layer of AMMO Skin and AMMO Crème for protection.
