Two Speed Camera Cars In One Spot !?

Saw this on Boundary road today ....

Two speed camera cars parked 2,3 meter apart from each other, and apparently my work college saw the same thing last week on Wellington road ....... wtf! Is this the new procedure or is it a joke?

What makes you think they're both active?

One could be broken down.

One could be swinging by to see his mate in the other car before his shift ends.

One could be doing on-site calibration with the other?

There's now way they're both active, radar/laser from one would interfere with the other.

And how would they explain the logic behind 2 fines, at the same time, at the same location?

most i see around lately have cameras on the front and inside the car pointing out the rear window to get people from the other direction, maybe the rear one was not working and they have another car for that?

Probably find they were setting up? Putting one of them across the other side of the road soon. Or waiting to take over a shift or something.

I saw the same thing on Millers Rd the other day. I reckon they would have just been swapping shifts.
