Confusion With Part Numbers (Some Pics/links Included)(Seals) R32 Gtr

Recommended Posts

SO I found what I have been eyeing out for years but its never been that important that I actually made the move and the pricing wasn't something that makes you jump for the grab or even research the parts, but anyway I thought I better get it soon incase the day comes that I really want to get it , & >> Discontinued. Anywayys......... The parts are for> the outer door window weather seals and Outer bottom window runner, and maybe the inner soft rubber weather window seal

I have the Grid numbers which is usually part-off the Full Part Number minus some extra digits which I wouldn't mind having if somebody knows them , anyhow hope this all makes sense and I am able to get closure on it.

>

  1. The part which is least important but thought might aswell get it > (Inner window soft rubber which the door/window seals itself on. PART Number as of JustJAP is 76860/76861 LH/RH "APPARENTLY" https://www.justjap.com/store/product.phpproductid=21042&cat=332&page=8
  2. This is the bit which has confused me these are >(supposed to be the inner/outer door window weather seals Plastic & Softrubber http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=35086 Ignore the highlighted codes Not relevant to my point here. (CONFUSION> (wheres the part numbers from just jap?) Which one is incorrect? JustJap Or JapanParts

  3. http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=25503 --- Parts 80820/80821 -(Outer window bottom runner) Ignore the highlighted code Not relevant. Anyway is this atleast something Correct? I think this is the only part that I am sure about.. Could you confirm this please? post-32201-0-67509200-1373287689_thumb.jpg

So eventually I want to get all of these above...

There is just something that does not make sense, Notice in point 2. can someone advise which is which 76812/76813 OR 78859/78860 inner or outer... and If that is so... then whats the Just jap parts 76860/76861? These part numbers are from just jap site and actually have the real pictures with it. From those pictures it definitely looks like the inner soft rubber bit which is apparently 76812/76813 OR 78859/78860? From the japanparts site or am i missing something here.

As per the Japanparts the 78859/78860 is the more expensive seal out of the 2 if that helps which I doubt in Nissan world.

SOOO :) Is someone able to clear this up for me Please? If your able to give me the full part numbers this will also be a bonus otherwise I will get them elsewhere. Thanks

    • I’m doing some side developments on SR20det S13 engines, its one my hobby cars used it to compare flow capacity of some smaller size wheels. SR20det is one of another JDM legendary engines I'm sure there are plenty of SR enthusiasts on this forum, I will share results some common turbo configurations here. a quick run down of what the car is: Wide body 180sx Type X with black top engine (blue). It has: Stock bottom end Haltech 1500 ECU 5-0 motorsports trigger kit Kelford SR20DET Beehive Spring with Titanium Retainers Kelford Cams SR20DET S13 188-B 268/272 Cams G25-660 Turbocharger in T2 .64 rear housing internally gated ARP Head studs MLS head gasket 1000CC ID injectors Walbro 450L Fuel pump Front mount cooler kit JJR’s 3 inches turbo back exhaust (its too short for the 180sx it had to be extended) Pump 98 fuel Hub Dyno tune So far made 270rwkws at 22psi full boost by 4500RPM. Engine is very knock limited hence a pretty bad looking top end. From previous experiences it seems like SR20dets are happier with bigger size turbine, some thing like a GT30 would make way better top end, but on same time response is lost. It won't be a problem with S15 VCT engines. I'll be testing alternative turbine housing, turbine wheel and possibly dump pipe options for extra flow to resolve the problem and of course E85 would resolve all the issues.
    • Awesome writeup and details. Thanks for sharing the story so far. I can relate to parts of it with my previous car and some of the issues I had to deal with.
    • Wow the colour matched hard top completely transforms the car. Are there any nice front lip options for the car or is that off the table?
    • Generally yes but for some reason I've been ruthless this time around!  I might even need to do another tip run after the way I've finally been able to hit the delete button on shit I've stepped over, stepped around and tripped over for the past 10 years!
    • I just quote the Rolling Stones. Paint it black.
