Evo 8 Build - What To Expect

Hello Forum Members,

Just built the motor on my EVO 8 with Nitto and GSC components. The motor is able to handle 35 psi.

I also plan to run a BBK Full on 98 and E85 on dual maps.Anyone running a similar setup? If so what power and quarter mile time can I expect from 98 and E85?

Would a Precision 6262 be suitable for street driving instead of a BBK Full?

Posted the same question on jdmstyletuning forum. However, no input has been provided.

Cheers,

Simon

What compression ratio is your motor Simon?

A BBK full will go around 300+kw and make 25psi around 3800rpm depending on setup. Id say no to a 6262 being street friendly in a 2L street car its way too big. At 300kw you should be into the late 11 Zone if ya know how to pedal good :)

My 7 is at 300kw on the stock turbo ;) (Highflowed by Hypergear. Shh.) Stock cooler, airbox, piping etc.

No need for big gawdy turbos that will cop you a defect the minute the bonnet is raised, get on ethanol and enjoy the power it unleashes with a stock looking engine bay.
