SAU-NSW Club Membership

What is Skylines Australia NSW Inc.(SAU NSW)?

We are the Nissan Skyline Enthusiasts’ Club. If you own one or just admire Skylines in general then we are the club for you. The club holds social and track events throughout the year.

How is the club (SAU NSW) different to the forums (SAU)?

The Club was formed by a group of like minded forum users. It uses the NSW Members’ area as one of the ways for members to communicate.

The forums and the club are entirely separate entities.

How do I become a member of Skylines Australia NSW (SAU NSW)?

Becoming a member is as easy as going to our online store and filling in the online form. Once you have sent the form, you can post in this thread on the forum, to let us know. Link to online store is http://store5191044.ecwid.com/#!/SAUNSW-1-year-financial-Membership/p/38550086/category=10151475

What does being a member entitle me to?

Well, if the prestige and knowledge that you are a part of Australia’s largest Skyline enthusiast group isn’t enough, then take a look at what else you receive:

*Discounts on entry to club events.

*SAU NSW is CAMS affiliated (the first Skyline club in Australia to do so, VIC is the other) entitling club members to apply for the appropriate licences to enter motor sport events.

You will receive a membership card, car sticker and lanyard when you join. You can attend and vote at the AGM and have a say in how your club is run.

What sort of events does Skylines Australia NSW hold?

The events that the club runs, and participates in, include:

*Track Days
*Skidpan Days
*Super Sprints
*Drag Meets
*Motorkhanas
*and most other forms of club level motor sport.

We also participate in varied social events such as BBQs, Cruises and any other activity where a bunch of people who share the love of the same set of taillights can gather.

Okay, so I have filled in the form and sent it off, what happens next?

Once we receive your membership form and payment, you are added to the SAU NSW Members section of the online forum, email list, etc. Your membership card, etc. will then be sent to you as well. Please allow up to 3 weeks for your membership package to arrive.

If I need to know what’s happening to my membership, where can I find out?

By posting in this thread on the forums or by visiting our website at www.saunsw.com.au

SAUNSW Bank details.

Bank - NAB
Branch - Marrickville
Account name - Skylines Australia NSW
BSB - 082 356
Account number - 546 393 766

Are there any club rules or guidelines I need to read over?
There sure are. Have a read of the Skylines Australia NSW Rules and Constitution attached below.

Thanks for your payments everyone.

They have been received and are being processed.

Ravi, Mathew (GTofuS-T) is our Secretary & hence the exec in-charge of memberships now.

Edit: Efficient Secretary is efficient indeed. Beat me to it.

    • Admin delete if not allowed please, I just purchased an r32 GTST with a Gtr front bar , grill I assume bonnet? (maybe) I have 2 questions he told me it had an RB25det I’m new to the RB world, and this is the photo I have taken and also I noticed a piece near my suspension broken is this fixable , will update new photos tomorrow once I have lifted her up and removed the LHS wheel I want to know if there is ways around this , I didn’t notice anything as it drove with no knocks on the suspension or weird feeling    the car feels sluggish, and the rpm cluster literally goes to 3.5-4k rpm and when you put your foot down it dances around like the local girl on Canterbury road or Sefton playhouse the car sat for 8 years he said the oil was dropped and re done , I noticed the oil was very clean car starts no problems by all means it’s not a clean car it is a project but doesn’t need much, knowing me I will go overboard the colour is horrible car has 88k kms hardly driven needs a few things but it’ll be fun to build properly    so guys is this an rb20 or rb25 and what is this bracket called? Can it be fixed thanks
    • found this on the forum , suggests I am in the range  ----------------------------- From the segmented (potentially incorrect) information I've found that;  Early R32: RB26000XXXX to RB26002XXXX  Mid R32: RB26003XXXX (V-Spec I RB26-03XXXXX - Reference Classic Register) Late R32: RB26004XXXX (V-Spec II RB26-042XXXX - RB26-045XXXX - Reference Classic Register) Early R33: RB26005XXXX Mid R33: RB26006XXXX (as per the engine in this R32 V-Spec II, which is what I'm concerned about from legitimacy perspective) Late R33:  RB26007XXXX Early R34 (2000+):  RB26008XXXX ----------------------
    • Now as I understand it the engine numbers are sequential for the rb26.  EG stamped - RB26040100A is a 40,100 engine.    Now they made between 1988 and 1994 43,834 R32 GTR's  In 1994 they made 7,464 r32 gtr's.  So if you have a ~37,000++ number RB26 it's "safe" ish to assume its an 1994 motor and a long nose crank ?    The long nose crank being introduced somewhere in Feb of 1993.
