Looking really good mate. Can't wait to see it out and about.

Who did the covers for you in bayside blue? They look mint

Cheers mate yeah I'm getting excited

A bit of a update

Its Aive

It was fired up Friday night

It has a real Cammed idle which sounds killa. Unfortunatly no videos as I am up in Port Hedland working all I heard was it across the phone hahahahaha

I will try to get someone to go over there and get a video

Peter Gray has someone he takes them to I will find out who they are :)

The car went to the dyno the other day for a base file and a run in tune
The dyno fan was broken and not operating to the car only had to pulls but safe to say the car is is making great power on stock boost
401hp @ 14psi

The only thing to sort out now is the 4wd system. It's not playing the game at the moment needs to be rewired due to the aftermarket 4wd controller that had been spliced in

Really excited to get down to Perth and have a drive :)

My mate did a quick video

Well its been a long stint in Port Hedland, The car has been ready to go for around 3 weeks. Peter has been driving it around and sorting any little issues that pop up.

One problem was at idle in traffic the temp would creep up to 1/2 way. this was diagnosed as the Greddy water pump pulley being to large so at idle the water pump was barely circulating water around the engine. so a smaller pulley was sourced for the repair and I think the thermo fan has been removed and a viscous hub and fan fitted

Its been 8 weeks since I have seen it up close and I tell you I can barely contain my excitement cant wait to feel the power of the RB

I also have another issue to resolve.........

last time I was in Perth I was driving my 730rwhp F6 Typhoon when the input shaft in the gearbox decided enough was enough :spank:

I now know what a Barra engine sounds like at 8000rpm due to the fact it free revved to about that

hopefully I didn't hurt the engine

New input shaft is here and should be back on the road this weekend :merli:

Well that was a crazy weekend but had a blast

Flew to Perth Thursday night got up early Friday morning and headed up to gidgigannup to pick up the GTR

Spent a good few hours going over the car with Pete and several test drives

The only issue I found was the tyres were 4+ years old and rock hard

I drove the car down to a mate who hooked me up with 4× Achilles 123 sports tyres

Took it for another drive and transformed the car ☺

Headed back down to Perth in the GTR after sorting the F6 out

Decide to take a few mates out for a cruise ended up being big cruise from Ellenbrook , Perth city , South Perth , Kings park and out to Fremantle and North Mole

Didn't get back until 3am but worth feeling tired in the morning

Took a couple of pictures when we stopped at Kings Park. Perth may be small but wow its a beautiful place

Sunday morning was spent getting some more kms on the motor so we can look at getting the car retuned and go make some power

I took the car for a spirited drive up through the hills and a few private streets I know I ended up finishing my drive about 30kms past Northam in a little town called Grass Valley I was in the cockpit for around 3 hours and I have to say it is more comfortable than I thought it would be. Being just under 6 foot 8 I thought I may have had to stop for a rest but it was all G

I stayed the night at the folks house andhad time to go over the car in the old mans work shop

I should have a hoist in it soon which will make life a lot easier

The 123s get a bit noisy ( think wheel bearing whirring), however work well on a heavy car. They just need a bit of warming up to get the most out of them.

Very keen on a cruise IMACUL8 the only issue is I'm based in Port Hedland and only fly down every 6 to 8 weeks for a few days lol

Yeah Hadouken I still need to see if there is still a leak in there. My plans are to Dynomat the boot for noise suppression then false carpet floor will make the boot a lot more presentable

I will have to double check the tyres there not the 123s semi slick tyres they are just the road tyre

I have the 123s tyres on the front of my F6 there actually a really good street tyre. As for track tyres they lasted about 2 laps before they turned to shit lol

So headed back to Perth Monday morning noticed the exhaust was hitting against a few spots on the under carriage so headed to The Exhaust Centre in Midvale and had a chat to Nick

he wanted to have a quick look at the system so we chucked it on the hoist for a gander. He said it looked like the system didn't belong on the car... He was rite it suited a GTST

In a blink of an eye he was going crazy cutting and modifying changing angles ect within an hour the exhaust was sitting a lot better clearance was heaps better and it sat a lot higher

Nick said "sorry dude that's the best I can get it for the moment" I took it for a quick spin over some rough roads and no more rattles :)

The man knows his stuff I don't know why you would use anyone else

I dropped the car back to Peter Gray with a list of things to sort.

RHF CV boot leaking requires new clamp

4WD system not working

1st service on engine. I managed to rack up 1300kms in 4 days hahahaha

Big tune time
