Nice,

hows the lag and transient response feel with the new EFR turbo?

Any plans for E85?

Hey blah_blah

It feels very nice from about 3K onwards. It doesn't feel overly laggy or anything like that. Definetly no plans for e85 as I drive the car everyday and just want to keep it that way most probably ?

yeah the lumpy cam idle. my 254's don't have any lumpy idle.

Hey Looney_Head, after driving it for a while now I can honestly say I dont think it has that lumpy idle either. I'm not that good at describing things really lol. I only just finally put some descent tyres on the car today and got another wheel alignment done. Car already feels a lot better to drive now, compared to the cheap Chinese Sunny branded ones that were on there. Will take the car for a descent drive in the weekend hopefully give it a bit more shit lol.

Managed to get out and clean the car today. Just a small update, have slowly been getting used to it. Still havent tried high boost but car was serviced and is now running descent rubber all around. Got recommended from a mate to try Potenza RE003's. And can say that the difference is night and day and they are a great tyre for sure. Car feels so good to drive and even manage to have traction in Second Gear. Over all am loving it ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Cant wait to try the high boost at some point.

I do mean real life :)  I live in Wellington, what I meant is if I see it again I'll know that the car is actually a bit of a weapon... I am pretty sure I've seen it and wondered in the past

Lol ohhhh nice, yeah I Drive it most days, as I'm not a fan of fixing up a car and just leaving it to there. Definetly built it with "Daily Driven" in mind. I used to be out quiet a lot back in the old days when people use to go meet up on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays etc. Not so much these days as cant be bothered with the problems that come with that certain crowd of people lol

Black 4 door, we gave you a wave when you were in a line of traffic waiting to head around the bays from Kilbirnie area - unless it wasn't you but either way the driver looked perplexed haha

Haha that's not fair on them. I couldn't find anything fun to play with on the motorway. And wasn't keen to go down Courtney place with the clutch

Most Thursday nights I have a low key group of car mates who meet up and yarn in Lower Hutt, there are 2/3 Skylines as regulars but its really just across the board (@Looney_Head included) - welcome to pop down sometime if you want.  PM me if you are interested and I can let you know details, watching the weather for tomorrow night as it looks borderline atm haha

    • Admin delete if not allowed please, I just purchased an r32 GTST with a Gtr front bar , grill I assume bonnet? (maybe) I have 2 questions he told me it had an RB25det I’m new to the RB world, and this is the photo I have taken and also I noticed a piece near my suspension broken is this fixable , will update new photos tomorrow once I have lifted her up and removed the LHS wheel I want to know if there is ways around this , I didn’t notice anything as it drove with no knocks on the suspension or weird feeling    the car feels sluggish, and the rpm cluster literally goes to 3.5-4k rpm and when you put your foot down it dances around like the local girl on Canterbury road or Sefton playhouse the car sat for 8 years he said the oil was dropped and re done , I noticed the oil was very clean car starts no problems by all means it’s not a clean car it is a project but doesn’t need much, knowing me I will go overboard the colour is horrible car has 88k kms hardly driven needs a few things but it’ll be fun to build properly    so guys is this an rb20 or rb25 and what is this bracket called? Can it be fixed thanks
    • found this on the forum , suggests I am in the range  ----------------------------- From the segmented (potentially incorrect) information I've found that;  Early R32: RB26000XXXX to RB26002XXXX  Mid R32: RB26003XXXX (V-Spec I RB26-03XXXXX - Reference Classic Register) Late R32: RB26004XXXX (V-Spec II RB26-042XXXX - RB26-045XXXX - Reference Classic Register) Early R33: RB26005XXXX Mid R33: RB26006XXXX (as per the engine in this R32 V-Spec II, which is what I'm concerned about from legitimacy perspective) Late R33:  RB26007XXXX Early R34 (2000+):  RB26008XXXX ----------------------
    • Now as I understand it the engine numbers are sequential for the rb26.  EG stamped - RB26040100A is a 40,100 engine.    Now they made between 1988 and 1994 43,834 R32 GTR's  In 1994 they made 7,464 r32 gtr's.  So if you have a ~37,000++ number RB26 it's "safe" ish to assume its an 1994 motor and a long nose crank ?    The long nose crank being introduced somewhere in Feb of 1993.
