Gasket for coil pack cover ?

Hey everyone,

So started pulling apart the engine to change the spark plugs and what not.

Notcied that the gasket/rubber on the cover over the top of them is pretty hard and not the best looking.

Want to find a replacement gasket for it but i cant find one any where

Where would i find one ?

Is there even a gasket?  I can't remember ever seeing or caring about one on any RB engine, and I cannot see any reason why there would need to be one either.  I mean, let's face it.  if I've had the coil cover off of RB engines that many times and I can't even remember whether there's a gasket or not, then there's probably not one!

There is a rubber lining on the underside edge, whether you can get a replacement without changing the whole cover I'm not sure.

Just ditch the cover, your coil packs will thank you for running cooler.

Just buy some seal with adhesive backing. But it really isnt that important. Ive spaced my cover up to try and let some air in/out because I've had some coilpack dramas in the past

forever get the gasket, the coil can over heat so without the rubber you'll be helping the heat escape

only dis advantage would is when washing keep the hose away from it

that's how i run it
